Day 5 and 6 Vancouver

Okay family and friends, we'll try one more time to upload day 5 and 6 photos.  We only took 463 photos (250 after editing before loading them on the 'puter") on Day 6 during our "Hop-on, Hop-off" guided bus tour. Gonna try and upload 'em now.

Okay, sorry. Now, after 10 minutes per picture upload, the pic won't even post.  Fairly sure the wi-fi here, being used by everyone in the hotel, is simply overloaded. Will try again late tonight or tomorrow night. So sorry.

Trying again.

Okay then.....   Ginny's home in Bellevue.  Beautiful and green!!!

And of course, PEETA kept showing up all day long.

Okay... gonna post this and then upload more. It took 50 minutes to upload these.  BTW, it's the summer solstice today and up here in Canuckville we have 16 hours and 14 minutes of daylight.  It's 9:10 p.m. and the sun is JUST beginning to set.

MORE!!!!!!  (added Thursday night!)  Crossing the border into Canada and one of the many bridges in Vancouver.

The Olympic cauldron; Vancouver from Stanley Park; Peeta shows up at the authentic IndianTotem Poles in Stanley Park, and "other places" as well.  A few pics of the travelers and Peet meets "Rocky Racoon!!"

OK- can't add text below this pic... so will try to describe all pics from here.

First, Peeta meets Rocky and Randy; then posing inside a tree trunk; Bill taking a picture of Bill; a cool oriental-type bronze statue exhibit; nice photo of Canadian flags and Randy and Mel crying after Peeta tkes a dive and breaks some of his limbs (super glue fixed the problem later).

Continuing......  A street show; shopping in a really cool historic food market; Vancouver stadium undergoing the addition of a retracctable roof and finally, 8 pictures of Vancouver residents' response to the recent riots. This area is known as "Apology Wall."

More was posted below but it disappeared during preview and before posting.. I give up. Will try more tomorrow.

Trying again.  10:15 p.m. on summer solstice.... beautiful architecture in Vancouver; crossing the border back into the U.S., a cool piece of art; posing with Peeta in Blaine, WA., 1/4 mile from the border; riding the ferry saving about 3 hours driving on the way tp FORKS, WA for all you Twilight fans.

ONLY ONE PIC UPLOADED!!!!!  I QUIT!!!!!!

Dad - you're having a hard time uploading pix probably because of slow internet speed and the size of the pix. But, we're enjoying seeing your trip!
